Lavender oil is generally regarded as safe. However when swelling, redness or irritation occurs, stop using it.
People with sensitive skin are recommended to always try 1 drop of any essential oil on the inner arm and monitor effects for 24 hours.
Keep lavender essential oil away from eyes and mucous membranes.
People with low blood pressure could feel a bit drowsy after using this oil, however I have never experienced that having a low blood pressure myself.
During pregnancy we recommend avoiding all products containing essential oils during the first three months.
